One of the things we love about Capitol Reef National Park is that it is NOT one of the more frequently visited National Parks. The park attracts fewer visitors, meaning it is even MORE natural and MORE remote, quiet, peaceful, and undisturbed. And Capital Reef is home to its own gems and wonders too, like the Fruita Rural Historic Landscape. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this region is actually an old Mormon farm and orchard settlement. Today, much of the fruit trees and farm buildings still stand, maintained as they are by the park service. You can even buy fruit from park rangers at this one-of-a-kind park! Anderson Design Group handcrafted vintage poster art of the Fruita settlement, a seemingly out-of-place farmland in an otherwise harsh, arid environment. This artwork looks great as a canvas, poster, print, metal sign, or postcard. To learn more about Fruita and the other attractions of Capital Reef National Park, visit the website for the Grand Canyon Trust.
