Stones River National Battlefield commemorates the location of a very important Civil War battle. The battle took place from December 31st, 1862 to January 2nd, 1863. While the battle itself was inconclusive, most historians agree that the Union gained an important advantage during the battle, due to an inability of Confederate forces to win important ground in Middle Tennessee. Today, the historic region is commemorated as a national battlefield. Our award-winning Anderson Design Group artists handcrafted a vintage travel poster of the battlefield as our own solemn salute to one of the bloodiest battles of the American Civil War. This retro artwork utilizes styles from the early-20th century and is available for your wall as a canvas banner, framed print, metal sign, or framed postcard. To learn more about the battlefield, visit the National Parks Service website.
