Visitors to Redwood National Park truly walk among giants when they meander beneath the boughs of redwood trees which tower 300 feet into the air. Some of these trees require a dozen or more men standing arm in arm to encircle them. Visitors to the park are always amazed that there truly are trees of this size. They exceed imagination. Working by hand to depict the monolithic nature of the giant redwoods, oil painter Kai Carpenter and Anderson Design Group created an impressive painting of the magnificent boles of these mighty sentinels, along with two visitors and their vehicle, scaled correctly among the tree trunks.
