What could be better than a trip to the Maroon Bells? Colorado has endless opportunity for the avid outdoor enthusiast, but few rival the Maroon Bells. Both peaks reach above 14,000 feet, earning them the special designation of β14ersβ (Colorado has about 55 of these, depending on how they are counted). The Maroon Bells are protected by the Wilderness Act of 1964, so it is not uncommon for visitors to this region to view abundant wildlife in its natural habitat. To celebrate the Maroon Bells, Anderson Design group crafted a vintage travel poster of the twin peaks, a bold, retro art piece of a local moose, an alpine lake, and a forest valley below the summit of North Maroon Peak. To learn more about the peaks, check out the website for the Forest Service.
