Welcome to the Carnton Plantation. Not only is the Carnton Plantation a historic plantation by its own right, this plantation also served as part of a battlefield site in the American Civil War. The Battle of Franklin was fought in 1864, and the Carnton Plantation served as a field hospital for the battle. Seeking to preserve the history of Franklin, Anderson Design Group handcrafted vintage poster art of the plantation, a retro illustration styled after turn-of-the-century poster art. Available as a framed print, poster, canvas, metal sign, canvas banner, notecard, or postcard, this artwork is the perfect home decor piece for a Civil War history buff, Franklin native, or Franklin visitor.
