Signal Hill is a hill which overlooks the city of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. In the mid-1600s, Cabot Tower was built on Signal Hill. Signal Hill was the site of a decisive battle in 1762, a battle that ended the Seven Years’ War between England and France. Cabot Tower, the fort which rests atop Signal Hill, has been restored and preserved, now a major tourist site and a historic structure all in one. Encouraged by the abundance of history enshrined in the tower, Anderson Design Group’s award- winning artists fashioned a vintage travel poster, a fitting, retro illustration of the tower and the hill itself. This vintage print is available as a canvas banner, art print, metal sign, framed postcard, or as a set of notecards and postcards. To learn more about the tower and other, nearby attractions, check out the Canada Guide.
