Cholula Pyramid is often thought to be the gem of Mexico, and one can see why. Many archaeologists argue that it is the largest man-made monument in the world, even greater in size than the Pyramids of Giza. The reason why the sheer dimensions of Cholula Pyramid were unknown for so long is because much of the pyramid is covered by a church, vegetation, top soil, and even a small forest. Keep in mind that the pyramid was built over the course of 1,200 years and even the most recently completed section is still over 1,100 years old. Since then, nature has taken over, concealing much of the pyramid. Encouraged by the mysteries and wonders of such a pyramid, Anderson Design Group crafted vintage travel poster art of the church which rests upon the top of the pyramid.
