Tibet is called the Roof of the World for good reasons. The country has an average elevation of about 14,800 ft above sea level. The Tibetan Plateau is the highest and largest plateau of its kind. Partially because of the altitude, the Tibetans have a unique way of living, a culture and day-to-day lifestyle quite unlike any other in the world. Inspired by the unique culture and lives of those who live at 14,800 ft, Anderson Design Group handcrafted a vintage travel poster of the Samye Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Tibet. The monastery dates back to the year 775C.E.! You can order this retro-styled artwork as a canvas banner, framed print, framed postcard, or metal sign.
