After graduating from Ringling School of Art & Design in 1986, Joel moved to Music City and worked at Carden & Cherry Advertising for 7 years, winning an Emmy Award for his work on a CBS kid’s show. He co-founded Anderson Thomas Design in 1993, producing countless award-winning creative projects. In 2007, Joel retooled the firm to specialize in branding, packaging and poster art. The Nashville Advertising Foundation named him Art Director of the Year in 2010.
Dawn was a business major & art minor in college. She is from Nashville and lived and worked in LA and Dallas before joining our team in 1998. Dawn coordinates projects, gives art direction, manages deadlines, and handles all production. She also manages our Spirit of Nashville online store and studio boutique. After working in all facets of the music business for years and as VP of Creative Services for a record label – plus growing up with a bunch of brothers, she is no stranger to chaos, pressure and explosives!
Edward graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from Watkins College of Art and Design in 2008. While in college his work was recognized by the National Advertising Federation winning multiple local, regional, and national ADDY awards. Edward excels in cover design, publication layout, and packaging design. He has an impressive sneaker collection and as an avid Steelers fan, he always sports Black and Gold.
Ligia Teodosiu was born in Romania and moved to the USA as a child. After receiving her B.S. in Psychology from Ohio State University, Ligia studied design and illustration at Watkins College of Art, Design and Film. As a student, she was lavishly decorated by the Society of Illustrators, AIGA, and American Advertising Federation. As a professional, she brings a high level of creativity to everything —especially her ever-evolving Southern drawl.
Aaron was raised in Nashville, where he dedicated his early years to drawing cartoons and making corny jokes. Finding illustration and graphic design the perfect fit for his odd skill set, he attended Watkins College of Art, Design, and Film. In his spare time Aaron enjoys eating strawberry flavored foods, building replicas of TV show & movie props, watching Japanese Anime, and teaching people Photoshop. After becoming an illustrator his new life goal is to one day ride a zeppelin.

Born and raised in Nashville, Nathan Anderson is crazy about his hometown. You can usually find this bon vivant supporting the local art/food/music scenes in Hillsboro Village, East Nashville, 8th Ave, and downtown Franklin. During the day, Nathan scours the universe for cool products to sell alongside our prints. He is also the guy who hooks up fans from all over the globe with our art. He has an English degree from Lipscomb University and reads a striking array of books.
