    Book Covers & Interiors
A book cover is a billboard—often the only way a publisher can grab the attention of potential readers and persuade them to pick up the book. We love that kind of a challenge. With thousands of book titles out there online and on store shelves, it’s essential that our design catches the eye, entices someone to pick up the book, and persuades them to plunk down money and take the book home. We do this through creative use of color, imagery, typography, and when possible, materials.

    The Emma Ray Series

We had fun creating the first 3 covers in this series. There will be one more book to finish it all off.
After we did the first cover, each of the following books in the series needed to resemble a wedding cake, but play up the profession mentioned in the title. Finding unique cake toppers was the hardest part!

This cover nearly drove us into extinction! The title completely changed 3 times and our main contact person changed 3 times during the 14 months we worked with the publisher on this project. After more than 24 different cover comps, we finally arrived at the 4 final options shown here. The cover design to the right is now on store shelves.
