Founded in\n1866, Fisk University is the oldest institution of higher learning in Nashville. It is also the first African\nAmerican university to gain accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools\n(SACS). The school maintains a commitment to diversity, equal learning, and the highest academic\nattainment possible. Anderson Design Group rendered a vintage poster of the school, a fitting image of\none of the school’s original buildings. The Jubilee Hall was completed in 1876, and it still stands tall\nand proud today. Inspired by Nashville’s best local example of Gothic Revival architecture, our artists\nwere compelled to create poster art of the building, our own tipping of the hat to the deep roots of Fisk\nUniversity.
