Alaska: Kenai River
2019 By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Alaska is an untamed wilderness of beautiful lakes and streams, endless forests, snow-capped peaks,
and big skies. Out of all the rivers in Alaska, Kenai River offers some of the best fishing opportunities,
particularly for salmon fishing. In fact, it was in this very river that the world record salmon was
caught. The year was 1985 and the salmon was a whopping 97 pounds! Lovers of the rivers, lakes, and
streams of the American wilderness, Anderson Design Group handcrafted a vintage travel poster of a
Kenai River fisherman and his sprightly prey. You can order this artwork as a canvas banner, art print,
framed postcard, metal sign, or as a set of notecards or postcards. To learn more about Kenai River and
other Alaska attractions, check out Travel Alaska.
