Glacier National Park: Goats In The Valley
2018 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Receiving almost three million visitors in 2018, Glacier National Park serves to entertain and educate about our natural world.
The park is one of the great jewels of America, a place where families can enjoy the outdoors and learn
about the importance of preserving our lands. Glacier National Park was first established in 1910, so
Anderson Design Group crafted this fitting National Parks poster in the style of the early-1900s
WPA-commissioned artwork. This vintage poster depicts mountain goats (the official symbol for the
park) resting in a valley of blossoming wildflowers, with impressive mountain peaks looming like
silent sentinels in the background. This design invokes both a feeling of pride and nostalgia, a
reminder of our love for the parks. To learn more about Glacier, visit the Glacier National Park
Conservancy.
