revolution, independence, and a strong, resolute population. Honduras is a major travel destination, and
the nation has excelled in creating a tourism industry to meet the rising demand. Honduras offers
beaches that have made the list of best beaches in the world and ancient ruins which have made the
UNESCO World Heritage List. Honduras also has world-renowned diving sites and incredible hiking
