Pinnacles National Park: High Peaks Trail
2017 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Pinnacles National Park is known for its unique rockscapes, countless interesting structures created by
volcanic activity some 23 million years ago. Travelers to the California park hike among rocky spires,
canyon floors, oak and pine woods, and cave formations. The park is known for its birds of prey, like
the California condor, Peregrine falcon, and prairie falcon. Working to recreate some of the park’s
majesty in early-20th century illustration style, Anderson Design Group artists toiled with brush, stylus, and pencil to
handcraft a vintage travel poster in commemoration of the park. Order this print as a canvas banner,
metal sign, or framed print, or conserve wall space with a framed, vintage postcard or set of notecards.

National Park Foundation.
