Brunei
2019 By Steven Garcia, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Ever hear of a country called Brunei? It’s a small, Asian country in the South China Sea on the island
of Borneo. Brunei was the first Asian country to outlaw shark finning. Brunei is also home to some of
the world’s rarest rainforest species. Brunei has the largest residential palace in the world, an entire
town built on stilts, and some of the most beautiful mosques in the world. Inspired by this unique
country, Anderson Design Group handcrafted a colorful and exciting vintage travel poster of the island
nation, a classic artwork styled after the retro fashions of early-20th century artwork. You can order this
classic art piece as a metal sign, canvas banner, framed print, framed postcard, or as a set of notecards
or postcards. And to learn more about Brunei, be sure to check out the website for Brunei; Abode of
Peace.
