Crater Lake National Park: Watchman Peak Trail

The name says it all. Crater Lake National Park is one of the most unique formations of nature in the U.S. It is a deep, beautiful, and bright blue lake which rests inside the caldera of a mighty volcano. Crater Lake is almost 2,000 feet deep, making it one of the deepest lakes in the world. The Watchman Peak Trail is a 1.7 mile out and back trail located near Crescent, Oregon that features spectacular views of the lake. The trail is best used from June until October.
