Congo, Africa By Steven Garcia, Joel Anderson, 2020
- Congo, Africa
The Democratic Republic of Congo is located in Central Africa, bordered by Angola, Zambia, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, South Sudan, the Central African Republic, and the Republic of the Congo. The second-largest country in Africa, the Congo is perhaps best known for is National Parks and nature preserves. For example, the Congo is home to Virunga National Park, a nature park created in 1925 to protect about 1/3 of the world’s wild mountain gorillas and over one thousand species of mammal, bird, reptile, and amphibian. Inspired by the African nation and its commitment to wildlife conservation, Anderson Design Group’s artists worked together to create a poster design of Virunga National Park and a family of gorillas that live there. Available as a poster, print, banner, notecard, postcard, or metal sign, this artwork provides a unique aesthetic element to any wall.
