Each U.S National Park embodies a special wonder and awe that is unique to that park, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison is no different. As the park rangers who work there say, the park is “Big enough to be overwhelming, still intimate enough to feel the pulse of time, Black Canyon of the Gunnison exposes you to some of the steepest cliffs, oldest rock, and craggiest spires in North America. With two million years to work, the Gunnison River, along with the forces of weathering, has sculpted this vertical wilderness of rock, water, and sky.” Clearly, the park inspires poetic grace and a sense of wonder for all who visit and work there. Always with an eye out for unique talent and artistic design, Anderson Design Group was proud to collaborate with Colorado artist Kenneth Crane on a series of original National Parks illustrated posters. Kenneth's classic hand-rendered style conveys movement and energy, stylistic color, and poetic grace.
