Five of the eight major islands in the Channel Islands archipelago are protected by Channel Islands National Park, and Potato Harbor is one of the most popular visitor destinations. The harbor is a scenic, oval-shaped cove on the north side of Santa Cruz Island, accessible via a 5-6 mile round-trip hiking trail from Scorpion Anchorage, or by boat to reach the beach. Visitors should know that the harbor lacks direct beach access from land, though there are multiple viewing locations on the cliffs above. To celebrate the park, the award-winning poster artists of Anderson Design Group hand-rendered a compelling depiction of one of the park’s most iconic and memorable features, a location that beckons visitors the world over, a place that invites wonder, inspires awe, and demands at least one selfie. No AI was used in the making of this design, and every feature, element, line, color, contrast, and text segment was rendered by hand and perfected in our Nashville studio. Order this national park art as a print, canvas, metal sign, mini canvas, or as a set of notecards or postcards and start decorating, corresponding, or gifting. To learn more about the park and the importance of protecting all the parks as a part of the great American landscape, visit the National Park Foundation.
