Home to bison herds and other large mammals, Grand Teton National Park centers around the eye-catching Teton Range, a jagged series of peaks that rise abruptly out of the landscape, setting the stage for a variety of climates, ecosystems, habitats, and visual settings. Beyond its natural beauty, the park also preserves a significant amount of human history, including Native American habitation, colonial Mormon settlements, cattle ranches, and other historic establishments.
