Great Smoky Mountains National Park is certainly known for its panoramic views, but few points of interest offer such eye-catching mountain-drama as Mt. Cammerer Tower. At 5,054 feet above sea level, this lookout is one of the highest points in the park. The tower offers 360 degree views of the surrounding mountain range and Pigeon Forge. The tower has historical significance too, as it was built in 1937 by the Civilian Conservation Corps. To commemorate the tower, Anderson Design Group handcrafted a national parks poster in the WPA-commissioned style of the 1930s. This retro poster inspires nostalgia of a time long past, a time we can still remember today through our appreciation of vintage travel art.
