Katmai National Park: Evening Glow
“It’s that one park with all the bears, right?” That’s how many describe Katmai National Park, as this Alaskan national park is a paradise for the bears that live there. In fact, one of the key mandates of the park is to protect the park’s significant populations of brown bears and the other wildlife that make up the Katmai ecosystems and habitats. To celebrate the park and the example it sets in wilderness preservation, Anderson Design Group collaborated with master pastel artist Arden von Haeger on this lovely illustrated poster, a new and original take on national park art. Arden's classic hand-rendered illustration style conveys grandeur, romance, and nuance. His inventive use of color and his unique Art Deco styling deliver a delightful perspective on some of America's most iconic destinations.
