Cave Dragons in Yellowstone National Park?? Sure enough, there have been legends dating back centuries of fire-breathing beasts residing in the volcanic underground of Yellowstone. Particularly in the Canyon area, visitors may hear deep rumblings beneath the ground, the stirring of ancient beasts of our imagination and of legend and lore. Perhaps the most famous site of Cave Dragon activity in Yellowstone is Dragon’s Mouth Spring, a thermal activity area hidden in a cave system. This cave is quite unique. Pressure is continuously building up in the cave and, quite often, an explosion of gas, steam, and water will come gurgling forth, often sounding just like a dragon’s roar! Eager to see the elusive Cave Dragons for ourselves, Anderson Design Group poster artists rendered a vintage art depiction of Yellowstone’s Cave Dragon, a design that would make an excellent souvenir or gift from a trip to Yellowstone National Park. This original illustration is available as a print, canvas, metal sign, mini canvas, notecard, or postcard.
