Not all mythical creatures and mythological legends of the national parks are “monsters” per se, but some are still fierce and potentially dangerous! Sure enough, there have been legends of mesmerizing maidens, sirens calling from the boiling hot springs of Yellowstone National Park. Particularly in the Canyon area, visitors may hear humming or murmuring sounds, the stirring of ancient legend and lore. But beware, don’t let them call you into the pools! The springs are deadly even without sirens lying in wait.
