The incredible Tower Falls of Yellowstone National Park are so impressive that their magnificence is a big part of what created the national parks movement. Artists William Henry Jackson and Thomas Moran took photographs and paintings of the falls in 1871, and they showed these works of art to Congress. So impressed with the artistic depictions of the falls, Congress moved to designate the Yellowstone region as the nation’s first national park in 1872. Taking great inspiration from the fact that artists played a crucial role in the founding of our national parks, Anderson Design Group hand- illustrated our own rendition of the tower falls. You can order this vintage national park poster as a rustic metal sign, a classic canvas banner, or a sophisticated framed art print. And to learn more about the falls, visit Yellowstone Forever.
