Zion National Park is a painted wonderland. Located in Southwestern Utah, this wild, untamed land offers amazing views, long, peaceful hikes, plenty of sunshine, and the “Big Sky” that the West is so well known for. The park covers 146,500 acres of land and receives about 4 million visitors per year. The park is best known for its large canyons, colorful sandstone cliffs, and surprisingly rich vegetation for such an arid region. Wildlife is diverse, yet elusive in Zion. A good example is the ringtail—these members of the raccoon family are not strictly carnivores–they will eat fruits, berries, and whatever else they can get their tiny hands on. Always with an eye out for other artists who appreciate vintage poster art and retro design, Anderson Design Group was pleased to collaborate with digital painter Mary Withers Kirkland to create this lovely Zion scene. This vintage-looking illustration will look great in a variety of sizes, produced as a canvas banner, framed art print, metal sign, framed postcard, set of notecards, or canvas print.
