Flying over Cape Krusenstern gives one the impression that the land was made from brushstrokes, for this landscape is unlike any other. Primarily a coastal plain yet fully within the Arctic Circle, the park features narrow lagoons, seemingly painted on, separated by slender limestone hills and 114 ancient beach ridges. Visitors may see muskoxen that survive in the harsh climate, or spot signs of human habitation, as the park has been home to the Inupiat people for 5,000 years. Available as a poster, framed print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, or canvas, this original national park art would look great on any wall.
