Padre Island National Seashore is located on Padre Island off the coast of South Texas. In contrast to South Padre Island, known for its beaches and vacationing college students, PINS is located on the north end of Padre Island and consists of a long beach where nature is preserved. Protecting sixty-six miles of wild coastline along the Gulf of Mexico, the narrow barrier island is home to one of the last intact coastal prairie habitats in the United States. Along the hypersaline Laguna Madre, unique tidal mud flats teem with life. Native Americans, Spanish explorers and cattle ranchers have walked along its shores. The perfect addition to your home or office decor, this original illustration will look great as a print, poster, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas. This hand-rendered design is fashioned in the style of vintage poster art and the iconic 20th century travel art that first promoted the national parks, national monuments, and other protected lands.
