Fyodor Dostoevsky wrote many novels, but few garnered as much acclaim as Crime and Punishment. Published in 1866, it is considered a masterpiece of world literature, known for its deep psychological insight and its exploration of themes such as good vs. evil, nihilism, and redemption. The novel tells of Rodion Raskolnikov, who, tragically, murders a pawnbroker to prove his theory that extraordinary men are above the law. The novel explores the phases of Raskolnikov’s thinking and the deep psychological trauma and suffering he faces as he moves through the book’s phases: Crime, Nihilism, Punishment, and Redemption, just to name a few. This iconic literary classic book cover design is available as a poster print (framed or unframed), canvas, metal sign, or as a set of notecards or postcards, with multiple sizes available for prints, canvases, and metal signs. This original illustration celebrates a classic story unlike any other, making it worthy of placement as wall art or office décor.
