Walden: Henry David Thoreau
Thanks to the painstaking work of historians and literature enthusiasts, Henry David Thoreau's notes, essays, articles, and research have been preserved in Walden, sometimes referred to as Life in the Woods. Much of Walden's material is derived from Thoreau's journals and contains such engaging pieces as "Reading" and "The Pond in the Winter." Other famous sections involve Thoreau's visits with a Canadian woodcutter and with an Irish family, a trip to Concord, and a description of agricultural landscapes. To celebrate the preservation of the works of one of the nation’s most renowned authors, ADG poster artists and illustrators hand-rendered an original rendition of the book cover, pictured here and available as a poster, print, notecard, postcard, or metal sign (multiple size options and framing options are available).
