Alexandria, Virginia, is a city on the Potomac River, just south of Washington, DC. It’s known for its Old Town, with brick sidewalks and well-preserved 18th- and 19th-century buildings. King Street is lined with boutiques and specialty shops. Founding fathers dined at Gadsby’s Tavern, now a museum with period objects and photographs. The George Washington Masonic National Memorial is a Masonic building and memorial dedicated to the memory of George Washington, the first President of the United States and a Mason. The tower is fashioned after the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria in Egypt. The 333-foot (101 m) tall memorial sits atop Shooter's Hill (also known as Shuter's Hill). Now available as a poster print, canvas, metal sign, mini-canvas, notecard, or postcard, this original vintage-style illustration will look great on any wall. The poster would also make the perfect gift for anyone who appreciates vintage poster art, travel art, retro art, and original illustrations.
