Tallahassee is the state capital of the great state of Florida. The Capitol Complex includes the restored Historic Capitol, now a museum with displays on political history. The 1970s Capitol tower offers city views from its 22nd-floor observation deck. Nearby, exhibits at the Museum of Florida History cover European colonization, the Civil War and WWII. The city's antebellum mansions include the 1843 Knott House Museum. Tallahassee is also home to Florida State University, a public research university . It is a senior member of the State University System of Florida. Chartered in 1851, it is located on Florida's oldest continuous site of higher education. The Florida State Seminoles football team represents FSU in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and the Atlantic Coast Conference. Inspired by the history and aesthetic beauty of Tallahassee, the artists of Anderson Design Group have created an original illustration, handcrafted to celebrate the lore of one of America's favorite college towns. This design will look lovely as a print, canvas, metal sign, postcard or notecard.
