Glen Canyon Dam, Arizona By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson, 2017
- Glen Canyon Dam, Arizona
Completed in 1966, the Glen Canyon Dam is a massive structure, a huge arch-gravity dam that spans the Colorado River very near the Arizona and Utah border. The construction of the dam also led to the creation of the Glen Canyon National Recreation area, a region which attracts thousands of visitors every year for house boating, fishing, water-skiing, swimming, and other water activities. Anderson Design Group hand-illustrated this vintage travel poster art to create the perfect keepsake of a trip to the dam and recreation area. An early-1900s handcrafted art illustration such as this not only reminds one of the nostalgia connected to a beloved location, but such art acts as an excellent home decoration too.
