Lower Calf Creek Falls, Utah By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson, 2021
- Lower Calf Creek Falls, Utah
One of the most iconic attractions of the area, Calf Creek Falls is a stunning waterfall in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument in Utah. The lower tier of the falls (Lower Calf Creek Falls) is a 126-foot cascade and is very popular, because it can be reached by an easy hike on a 5.5 mile roundtrip trail. The trail weaves through a verdant, lush creek bed, providing an oasis-like contrast from the rocky, arid wilderness of Utah. The upper tier (Upper Calf Creek Falls) is 88 feet higher than the lower tier and is much less visited, as it requires a difficult, one mile scramble past the lower falls to get to it. After visiting the falls in-person, award-winning poster artists at Anderson Design Group rendered this classic design in the tradition of the Golden Age of Poster Art. This retro-styled travel poster will look great as an art print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas.
