The French Quarter is easily the most historic district in New Orleans. This neighborhood is instantly recognizable with its balconies, Mardi Gras parade routes, and views of the Cathedral—it's the epitome of New Orleans culture in one square half mile. The district has a long history as a tourist attraction too, as the Quarter began attracting out of state visitors as far back as 1890. ADG’s collaborating artist, Annie E. Cauffman, rendered this design with festive, vibrant colors. Annie’s bold sense of style and iconic vintage 1950s-1960s rendering techniques add a classic jet-age whimsey to this iconic scene. Reminiscent of the TWA posters of the mid-20th century, this retro design celebrates The Big Easy with a modern twist. This original travel poster and hand-rendered art design will look great as an unframed print, framed illustration, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas. Available in multiple size options, this whimsical travel art was fashioned in the style of 20th-century vintage art and the iconic travel art and retro art that first promoted international travel and adventure. Order this print as a great addition to retro home decor. To learn more about NOLA, check out the Visit New Orleans webpage.
