The Oregon Coast has earned both national and international renown as the Oregon tourism industry has become more prominent. The coastline is dotted by lighthouses, creating the perfect opportunity for “lighthouse tours.” Every summer, visitors scramble to see as many as they can and garner the coveted bragging rights of having seen all 11 of Oregon’s historic lighthouses. Perhaps one of the best known of them all, Heceta Head Light is located 13 miles north of Florence, and 13 miles south of Yachats. It is located at Heceta Head Lighthouse State Scenic Viewpoint, a state park, midway up a 205-foot-tall headland. Built in 1894, the 56-foot-tall lighthouse shines a beam visible for 21 nautical miles, making it the strongest light on the Oregon Coast. Inspired by the scenic beauty of the lighthouse, Anderson Design group poster artists hand-rendered vintage works of the lighthouse, drawing and coloring a vintage-styled design with a stunning, sunset view over the Pacific Ocean. This artwork is available as a poster, print, banner, notecard, postcard, or metal sign. To learn more about Oregon travel opportunities, be sure to check out the website for Travel Oregon.
