Why is Pasadena called the City of Roses? A glance at one of the city’s historical websites reveals that the city earned this moniker due to the fact that the city hosts an annual Tournament of Roses and has been doing so since 1890. To honor this beautiful city and to commemorate its dedication to cultivating the best roses in the world, Anderson Design Group handcrafted this vintage travel poster of one of the city’s historic buildings. Fashioned after the mid-20th century Golden Age of Illustration travel art, this vintage poster has a style fitting the great city it depicts. Beautify a room in your home or office and show your love for Pasadena at the same time with this vintage travel poster as a framed print, canvas banner, or framed postcard.
