Pikes Peak is named after Zebulon Pike, an American explorer who named the mountain “Highest Peak” in 1806. Today, the mountain is a favored tourist destination for the region, a common attraction as the mountain is not too difficult to climb. In fact, the ascent is so gradual that there even exists a train car that can ferry visitors to the summit and back. Anderson Design Group fashioned a handmade illustration of the peak and the surrounding countryside, a beautiful scenery quite fitting as the centerpiece to any room. This vintage travel poster art is available as a framed print, metal sign, framed postcard, canvas banner, or as a set of notecards or postcards.
