Mount Olympus
In Greek mythology, Mount Olympus is the legendary home of the Twelve Olympian gods and the site of Zeus’s throne. Olympus is clearly described in Homer's Iliad. It was essentially an ancient acropolis—a fortified hill-top and palace complex--located just below the peaks of Mount Olympus. The golden gates of the heavenly fortress were guarded by the three Horai and it contained the palace of Zeus, lesser palaces for the other gods, and stables for the immortal horses. The artists of Anderson Design Group have hand-rendered this illustration in the style of vintage poster art of the 20th century. This design is available as a poster, framed print, metal sign, canvas, or as a set of notecards or postcards.
