ADG’s Guest Blogger Daniel S. Pierce says no park compares to Glacier National Park in terms of hiking trails, trails that are truly memorable to those who’ve been there. But the park also has a beautiful driving road, called the “Going to the Sun” road. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the road traverses the Continental Divide at Logan Pass. The road is a must-travel for visitors to Glacier, as it offers the easiest route in and out of the one-million acre national park. Be sure to check the park’s website though, as the road does experience closures due to inclement weather. To celebrate the road and the park, Anderson Design Group collaborated with Annie E. Cauffman on this stylish illustrated "mod" print. Annie's bold sense of style and her iconic vintage mid-century mod rendering techniques add a classic jet-age whimsey to our popular national park poster art. Reminiscent of the retro art and TWA posters of the mid-20th Century, this mod illustration depicts an iconic 1930s "Jammer" bus carrying visitors through a tunnel. This vintage-looking print will look swanky as a framed print, canvas, metal sign, postcard or notecard. To find out more information about the park, visit the National Park Foundation.
