Designated as a National Historic site of Canada in 1980, the Chateau Frontenac offers stunning views of the Saint Lawrence River. The building was initially constructed as a luxury tourism resort, built in 1893 and designed to host hundreds of guests at once. But perhaps the most famous historic event that took place at the Chateau was a meeting of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, and Mackenzie King to discuss strategy for World War II. Seeking to capture some of that history in a vintage art style reminiscent of the mid-1900s, Anderson Design Group created a compelling illustration of the Chateau, a vintage travel poster of the building and the surrounding area.
