- Cape Verde
The island life is the good life! Cape Verde (or Cabo Verde), is an archipelago and island country in the central Atlantic Ocean, consisting of ten volcanic islands with a combined land area of about 4,033 square kilometers. Cabo Verde is named for the westernmost cape of Africa, which is located in nearby Senegal and is the nearest point on the continent. The largest port in the islands is located at Mindelo, on São Vicente. Its deepwater harbor accommodates large vessels and has been used as a fueling station as far back as the 19th century. That harbor carries a great deal of history for visitors to explore, as do the islands around it. Cabo Verde consists of nine inhabited islands and one uninhabited island. Anderson Design Group has rendered this classic World Travel poster design in the tradition of the Golden Age of Poster Art. This retro-styled rendering will look great as an art print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas.
