Romantic in every possible way, a trip to France is truly unique and special. And of all the places one could go in France, many argue that the French Riviera is the perfect location for a romantic getaway. The French Riviera (or Côte d'Azur) refers to the beautiful Mediterranean coast of southeastern France. A health retreat in the 18th century, the area later attracted aristocrats, artists, and the 1960s "jet set.” Today, the French Riviera is an established holiday destination, with paths connecting many coastal villages with lovely attractions and adventure around every corner. Inspired by its rich history of glamour and style, Anderson Design Group poster artist collaborator David Owens created a loose, fluid, colorful rendition of the town of Menton, which has all the beauty of the better-known coastal villages, but a fraction of the crowds. Its beaches are all but empty in the off-season, and boutique-filled alleyways are relatively free of bargain-hunting tourists. With over 316 days of sunshine each year, exceptional gardens, temperate weather, and quality Italian cuisine due to its close proximity to the Franco-Italian border, it's an ideal spot on the French Riviera. Anderson Design Group worked with David Owens to render this classic design in the tradition of the Golden Age of Poster Art. This retro-styled travel poster will look great as an art print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas.
