Japan: Tokyo By Steven Garcia, Joel Anderson, 2013
- Japan: Tokyo
Famous for being the largest metropolitan area in the world, the Tokyo metropolis is a bustling hive of activity on any given day of the week and at any given time of day. Tokyo is home to famous sites like the Imperial Palace, the Shibuya Crossing, the Tokyo Tower, the Harajaku District, and more. Being that over 36 million people call the Tokyo region home, the city also has a sprawling skyline of apartment buildings, hotels, business and commerce centers, and shopping complexes. Inspired by the teeming buildings and their mountainous backdrop, Anderson Design Group crafted vintage poster art of the cityscape, a twilight rendition of the city skyline with ancient sakura trees in the foreground.
