Senegal is a country in West Africa, bordered by Mauritania, Mali, Guinea and Guinea-Bissau. The African Renaissance Monument is an iconic 160-foot tall copper statue located on top of one of the twin hills known as Collines des Mamelles, outside Dakar, Senegal. Built overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the statue was designed by the Senegalese architect Pierre Goudiaby inspired by an idea presented by president Abdoulaye Wade. Rendered by the award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group in the style of early 20th-Century travel posters, this classic design will look great as a framed print, canvas, metal sign, canvas banner, as a postcard or a notecard.
