“A Beautiful City on an Equally Beautiful Lake” is probably the best way to describe Lucerne, a compact urban center located in Switzerland known for its preserved medieval architecture and its picturesque location on Lake Lucerne. Some of the town's more historic quarters are quite old and painstakingly preserved. For example, the city’s colorful Altstadt (Old Town) is bordered on the north by 870m Museggmauer (Musegg Wall), a 14th-century rampart. The covered Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge), built in 1333, links the Altstadt to the Reuss River’s right bank. This classic design and vintage travel art celebrating the epic tourist destination is available as a poster, print, metal sign, notecard, or postcard.
