The Bahamas: Exuma By Steven Garcia, Joel Anderson, 2022
- The Bahamas: Exuma
Pigs in the ocean? Yes, you can see this unique feature of nature in the Bahamas! The Bahamas is a country within the Lucayan Archipelago of the West Indies in the Atlantic. Exuma, a special district of the Bahamas, consists of over 365 islands, also called cays. The largest of the cays is know as Great Exuma, 37 miles in length and joined to another island, Little Exuma, by a small bridge. Exuma's famous swimming pigs live on Big Major Cay. Also known as Pig Beach (for obvious reasons), the island is about 82 miles southeast of Nassau, and about 50 miles northwest of the capitol, George Town. It is entirely uninhabited by humans, making it a veritable sandbox playground for pigs. Anderson Design Group rendered this porky paradise poster in the tradition of the Golden Age of Poster Art. This retro-styled rendering and vintage travel poster will look great as an art print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas. Or gift the original illustration and vintage poster art to a friend who would like to swim with the pigs!
