June is for Softcover Book Sales and New Products!
The first week of June has been a strong launch to summer for the folks at Anderson Design Group, with a sale, a collaborator product release, and a new coffee table book!
But before we get into that, some breaking news!
Our National Park Adventure Guide Meets King Charles III!
King Charles III and Queen Camilla recently visited Shenandoah National Park on a tour of the United States.
The National Park Service celebrated their visit by creating a special "250 Years" commemorative stamp, and stamping our National Park Adventure Guide before the King.

Check out the Instagram reel at this link that shows Deputy Regional Director of the National Park Service, Kirsten Talken-Spaulding, welcoming King Charles III to Shenandoah National Park by providing a commemorative stamp onto our 63-Park National Park Adventure Guide Book!
This comes at a time when our studio artists just finished creating a mini-series of poster art celebrating the nation's 250th birthday. See our American Travel collection for the full mini-series!

The Month of June Means a Softcover Coffee Table Book Sale!
Four of our most popular softcover coffee table books and national park travel guidebooks are on sale at $10 off, while supplies last. The titles include:

An Illustrated Guide to Exploring the Grand Circle: In the tradition of our award-winning National Parks Book, we are proud to introduce a new book focused on the amazing parks of the Grand Circle—a circuit of natural wonders in southern Utah and northern Arizona that can be experienced by car or camper. This gorgeous softcover book includes hand-rendered illustrations and maps, plus photos, timelines, and a fascinating narrative by historian Daniel S. Pierce.

Wilderness & Wonder, An Illustrated Guide to the National Parks: Wilderness & Wonder’s art of the national parks is depicted in a loose, hand-rendered dry-brush composition style accompanied by dozens of on-site photographs, hundreds of travel tips, inspiring park descriptions, historical information, and educational facts about the geology, biology, human history, and wildlife of the parks. Not only is the book visually beautiful, but it is also easy to read (ideal for younger readers) and educational! Bonus material includes: An Illustrated History of the National Parks, A National Park Map of the USA, How the Art is Made, and a handy glossary.

The Spirit of Nashville: Celebrate Nashville with this beautiful 9’x12’ full-color, 128-page softcover book. Featuring the most popular art from the award-winning Spirit of Nashville Collection and full of Nashville history, archival photos, and stories, this book is sure to become a timeless keepsake.

New Artovision Products!
Our Wisconsin friends at Artovision (another small family business) make decorative, collectible 3D shadowboxes featuring ADG art! The boxes measure 12” x 15 1/2” x 2 1/2” and come ready to hang. Each piece is printed on 1/8”-thick optical-grade acrylic with vibrant UV-cured inks set in a high-quality finished MDF wood frame.

The Artovision family has also launched a new product: Acrylic Desktop Art! Your favorite ADG designs, in postcard-size 3D art pieces printed on 3/4” thick optical-grade acrylic with vibrant UV-cured inks.

A father-and-son business from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Artovision was born out of a love for 80s video games and classic Americana. Their handmade, vividly eye-catching shadowboxes and desktop art are a celebration of pop culture and nostalgic design. Anderson Design Group is proud to partner with and license our travel artwork to this dynamic duo.
The D.I.Y Guide to Being the King of Dad Jokes!
Last but not least, it’s not a June New Product launch without something for Father’s Day! This new product is your dad’s favorite gift. He already has everything he needs, except our latest book release: The D.I.Y. Guide to Being the King of Dad Jokes!

This Do-It-Yourself Guide is a must-have for every dad. It’s a handy resource for new material (although there is nothing wrong with annoying family members by repeating certain jokes often enough to get an eye-roll). Any father can hone his skills with this colorful reference book and become the King of Dad Jokes in his own domain.

Packed with over 440 knee slappers, this 64-page goldmine of paternal punnery is guaranteed to become a family heirloom. The award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group, under the direction of founder Joel “Pops” Anderson, have created a humorous collection of snarky, retro-cool poster art to accompany the plethora of Pop Culture wisecracks (pun intended).

Enjoy the Art of Adventure, Made by Humans, for Humans, No AI, ever!
We know summer doesn’t officially start until June 21st, but we’ve always felt like the first week of June is the true launch date for the season of travel and adventure. We thank you so much for supporting our small family business when you’re shopping for souvenirs, travel guides, travel coffee table books, and other memorabilia and art designs to help you remember your adventures.
We’ll keep exploring, too, and making art of the places we see and experience.
Until next time,
