Based out of Brooklyn, New York, freelance illustrator Mary Withers Kirkland has an emotive, dream-like style and lyrical sense of color. Her work captures the essence of each destination with energy, mystery, and joy.
An artist from an early age, Mary is particularly interested in the creative expression of geology, world travel, wilderness, and wildlife. When she’s not illustrating, Mary can be found in the corner of a café, at a Formula 1 Grand Prix, or searching the house for her cat, Vienna.
